Im a senior in HS and I have liked this guy for 2 years now. The first year we knew each other, we hung out alot, ate lunch together, played video games and I started to develop feelings for him. During this year, alot of our friends said we would be cute together and that we had great chemistry together

The second year I told two of my friends that I liked him and they swore that they wouldn't tell anyone and they haven't. Soon after, the guy I like doesn't talk to me anymore, but he'll always be somewhere near me and when I leave a room, he'll leave like 5 seconds after me. We haven't talked in like 2-3 weeks. I try to act like him not talking to me doesn't bug me, but it's killing me.

Can anyone tell me what is going on? Should I just forget about him?

firstt year sounded great :D but then now this year seems ... like ..hmmm are you sure someone didnt let out the secret...or found out bout the secret and told him. or else...he realized that you like him...and i guess its like a weird feeling to him..maybe in the beginning when you guys first knew each other and played video games, and hung out he considered you his "BUDDY" and maybe nothing more, but you develeped feelings for him and he couldve found out which now makes him uncomfortable and like " what do i say to her now!" or "how do i act around her". unless hes one of those weird guys who couldv possibly found out you liked him...while he is surprised since he might have also feelings for you :D but is really shy and not sure what to do now so he ignores you, but then when he does he could hit himself on the head for being so stupid lol :) so theres two possibilities :) in my opinion. Dont let his muteness kill you...maybe you should just try to forget about it which is best and let fate handle this...its weird but what if next week hes all talkative again and acts like nothing ever happened ? i know guys like thatO_O just SMILE and dont let it bug you too much..cause guys can be stupid...especially with dealing with feelings and emotions .... teehee

Dear Half Pint!
Firstly, I would hope you care enough about yourself to know that you DESERVE an answer, even if it be something you don't want to hear! You can still remain aloof & strong about it, though. It may take some courage, but just walk up to him & ask him about it, outright! Don't come off as hurt or overly sensitive, Just ask,"hey, whats up? Do we have an issue we need to work out?" Straight-faced. Up front. If your friendship is over, then you have a right to know. If it's something else, you have a right to know that too! That knowledge will help you move on with your life, without looking like you made it come to a screeching halt for him! Best of Luck!

Maybe someone told him some sort of rumor about you. If it were me and you and he are supposedly friends just be up front with him and tell him that you feel that something feels weird between the two of you and you were wondering whats up? He may also like you who knows....Wouldn't you rather get it out in the open and if there is a chance that he likes you you can finally get together with him. Good luck

If hes constantly on your mind, I don't think you should just forget about him. Why don't you 2 talk anymore? Well... once you see him, just spark up a conversation, like "Hey ______, you can't talk to nobody no more, I thought we was cool." or something like that! He'll talk to you, maybe he wants you to make the first move, so he can see if you like him? But if you got feelings for him, don't let it go, cause you might night ever get it back!
Good Luck Girl

I've had guys ignore me completely out of nowhere too.
So I know how you feel.

And speaking from experience, I can tell you that he probably isn't interested and felt that you did like him. So he is trying to ignore the situation.... ignore you. He doesn't want to get tangled in a web like that, I suppose. Guys just love avoiding things... they don't like to be direct. I don't know why. That's just the way they are.

So my suggestion is... take the hint and move on.

Just tell him that you miss hanging out with him because you value his friendship. He could just be going through something that has nothing to do with you, but doesn't want to burden you with it. Or maybe he feels a little violated that you told other people how you felt about him instead of coming to the person who needs to know the most: HIM!!

just want you to know, that your friends can't tell if you have good chemistry with someone -- you are the only one who'd know that, hon.

you and the guy are avoiding each other for some reason... why do you give him a call sometime?

if you like each other, might as well have a chat -- it's worth a try!

Oh my gosh... he definitely likes you. He just doesn't know how to get from being your friend to going out. Be creative...ask him some good "friendship" questions. Start trying to make him feel more comfortable around you like he was 2 years ago. You can do it! Go girl!

I think the adult thing to do would be to ask him what happened that made him stop wanting to talk to you.
You have known and been friends with him for 2 years...that is not such a hard question to ask is it?
Ask him and see what he says...then make your decision what to do about him yourself.

be cool...
