7th grade?? Teens play games back and fourth. Move on! You should of took the chance when you has it. Maybe this quote will help you out "Lifes too Short to wake up in the morning with regrets, So love the people that treat you right, forget the ones that don't, and belive that everything happens for a reason, If you get a chance TAKE IT! If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it"

7th grade - now that's a toughie. Almost a teen but not quite. Just a minute let me think about my preteen years ............. nope they won't help.
Okay. A best friend is a great way to start. Maybe he said he likes someone else just so you don't think he is still mooning (means wishing he was with you) after you. Perhaps, he thinks in this way you won't break his heart.
You have the rest of your life to be romantic. Go slow and do shy little things. I'm against telling him straight out - especially if he is intent on moving on. Casually brush against him. Let your hand linger a little longer on his, etc.
NO sex until you are after 18 - the wait will be worth the wait.
Love is grand.

honey, you're only in 7th grade, relax, keep your friendship. If you still like him in high school, then think about it. Just hang low for now, I had a problem like that where I didn't want to ruin a friendship, and oddly enough, I became good friends with his girlfriend, it was weird, but things worked out nicely.

I think that if he is willing to go out with someone else, then he has not much interest in you. As a friend perhaps, but not as a woman. You might want to respect that decision as his friend. Maybe it will let him realize that you are much better to be with that with her.
Word to the wise, Many friendships have gone sour after dating. So be care full and analyze your situation, so that you don't loose a friend. hope this helps Will.

hey, chyll i know how you feel.... same thing happened to me except in 9th (im in tenth now), well to be honest there really isn't much you can do its either. A). you tell him and find out what he thinks or B) just wait and it will eat at you know you never found out the truth. i recommend you take it slow and try not to copy anything some says. Just act like yourself and tell him how your feeling. Like you said he asked you out before and you said no, your doing the same thing expect your just expressing your feelings.

"i know i used to like you and you used to like me but the truth is i still like you, i know i sounded like an idiot when i said no back then but the truth was i wanted to say yes but something was holding me back because maybe i was nervous, and i am sorry. and it took me a lot of nerves to tell you this because you are my best friend and i was afraid that i might ruin our friendship if you said no, so i am asking you, will you be my boyfriend? i love you and if you say no, please will you still be my friend."
yeah, that's all i could think of
