download adobe reader addon tool (plugin) from internet then try reading the file.

A plug in is a piece of software that adds extra features to another piece of software.

Adobe reader should be able to read .PDF files. If you have having troubles with it then usually a quick fix for this is to update

just download the newest version from that link and then install it.
