The best place to get information on this is the National Domestic Violence Hotline www.ndvh.org 800 799 7233 They can give you a list of organizations in your area and any other area. They have a special info link for teens that may be useful to you too.
That is a great type of organization especially since are dating violence is a part of 1 in every 3 high school dating relationships according to the research at NDVH. That figure sort of takes my breath away. Generally it's guys abusing girls but it can be the other way around too.

Most counties have a Domestic Abuse Center. The phone number is usually in the front of your phone book. COntact them and express your interest and see if they can help you. ALso you local library might have information.

There is an organization nationwide who help women. It is called "Soroptimist International" (latin term for "best for women".)They have a website and most larger towns have a local club.

in missouri we have a group called card v. coalition against rape and domestic violence. they help to take women and their kids to safe houses

You should be able to find womans shelters in any bigger town.
Phone the number and tell them what you want to find out. Its unlikely that you would be welcome at the shelter itself but you can probably talk to one of the people running it.
