My suggestion, visit a local daycare if you have not been in one before. Scope out what they have and ask what their daily schedule is. I have been working in one for 5+ years. There are so many suggestions on what you can do. But you can do a engine search for "child development" activities. Depending on what age you are accepting. Good Luck! It's alot of work, my mother actually owns 2 day care centers, very hard work.

My daycare did something really nice. They kept a little scrap book for each child. The woman running the place wrote a little note in each book every few days, the kids did projects in there and then she put photos in of special events - trips to the museum or the mural they painted and such. As a working mom, I REALLY appreciated it!!!

I suggest web cams set up so parents can look in on their kids 24/7. This will also help protect yourself.
