Well, a few more details would have been nice... Like is it already bubbling and flaking off? If so, you'll need to scrape it all off. Start over again on an overclouded day and start early in the morning. Don't choose a day when rain is expected or bright sun and heat either.

Once you've scraped it all off, paint the whole side with an oil-based exterior primer. Although you could use a latex primer, oil-based will work best in the sun.

Use an oil-based exterior paint. This won't peel and bubble as latex will.

If you do it early in the morning, before the sun gets around to the south side of the house, just do one coat on one day and the second coat a few days later. If you apply both coats on the same day, it will be more likely to peel and bubble.

Most likely the reason your paint is bubbling is because the paint on the house is probrably oil-based and you are using an exterior latex paint over that. Using an oil-based primer will resolve all those problems.

Good luck...
