writing a file in Java script?

How can I use Javascript and write a file ( or create ) to my local syste. please tell me the code. I dont know much about javascript..Please anybody

if you actually want to write a file using javascript back to your server, you need to learn ajax and a server scripting language like perl or php!

if you want to save a file to the users' browsers' file system you have a choice of downloads or cookies.

the easiest way to see who's been on your site it to look at the log files that every server keeps!

Javascript is added in a web page. get a javascript book or tutorial. because i cant write whole book over here.
