K, so my derma put me on these Accutane pills,
but is it a bad idea if i choose to go out n drink alcohol when im taking these pills ?

I suspect you already know the answer to this one, your doctor would have told you. Accutane is metabolized by the liver, and can cause considerable damage to that organ. You only have one liver and you cannot live without it. If you drink alcohol while taking the accutane, you quadruple the risk of severe damage, also accutane has properties similar to antabuse and will make you severely ill if you drink alcohol while taking it. You also need to avoid tylenol as the same thing occurs as far as the liver damage goes. So, while you are taking the accutane, go on the wagon, or pay some pretty severe consequences.
