anyways i go to church every sunday. And i hear the end times are near. About a year and a half ago i used to always watch the sky and some nights i would think the rapture was coming but it never did. But i just dont feel like i want to get caught up. Heaven just sounds boring. Are we just going to be walking around forever. Maybe when im old i'll be ready for heaven but im just 16. What about movies, what about my stories and songs that i write, will they be forgotten. And i heard their wont be any relationships in heaven. And i really do like girls and would wish to get married one day. Heaven must be a very perfect place. But it just seems boring right now. And i rather have that then hell anyday. But atleast wanted to live a life here on earth first. I wanted to be able to have a family. So im thankful for every day the rapture doesn't come. Cause im thinking about staying back. Does anyone else feel this way? And i was doing fine until 2 years ago, when my moms friend told me.

Heaven and eternity are better than you can imagine. You will likely be amazed that you even considered the things of this world as a standard by which to compare.

God says this about what He has planned for your eternity: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him." (I Corinthians 2:9)

No one knows what Heaven is like. The Bible tells us that it will be a perfect place, without sin, and the center of our lives with be worshipping God. However, no one with certainty can tell you that there will be no relationships in Heaven. No one can tell you that you won't be able to access the things that are important to you now in Heaven. No one has ever definitively been there and returned to give us the juicy details.

By the way, you should do a little research about the idea of the rapture. What is a generally accepted idea of the rapture doesn't have much of a Biblical basis.

And, if you're only 16, don't spend so much time worrying about the end of everything! None of us are promised tomorrow, but you should spend your time enjoying life, not worrying about what will happen when its all over! Sometimes God's plans for our lives don't correlate with our own. In the meantime, enjoy being young! Heaven is your eternal reward, sweetheart, God doesn't want you to waste your precious time being afraid of it!

If you believe in Jesus as your Savior, the rapture will be the best thing to happen to you. Heaven will not be boring. You will know everyone and have never ending joy. As for life now, relax,as mentioned live a life pleasing to God,and do not fear the end just be watchful for Christs return.
1Thessalonians 4:17-18
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,to meet the Lord in the air:and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore COMFORT(emphasis added) one another with these words.
chapter 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep,as do others;but let us watch and be sober.

God wants you to love life and it sounds like you do. So, until the rapture comes live life in a way that pleases and honors God and brings your incredible joy! Don't rue what hasn't happened yet. When the rapture happens it will be the perfect time and you can trust the Word that when it happens you would no longer want to be here anyway

Hey kiddo,
They've been preaching this end of the world thing for hundreds of years.. 20 years ago, they had me convinced that the rapture was going to happen any moment. And I'm still here.. enjoy your life and stop worrying about the end of the world.. be happy and at peace.

You have 2 choices. Live with God in your heart, fallow his word and live forever or perish. It's up to you.
