Kinda in a pickle. I hung out with an old friend Friday night. Long story short, far too many drinks led to making out and me waking up noticing a nice gift on my neck. One of those shouldn't have happened things..but it did. So, I covered it with bandaids and went out last night. Well last night happened to meet a gorgeous girl, and she wants to go out again tonight. Thing is, I dont think she noticed the bandaid and I don't think its too classy to take a girl out when you have a hickey from another girl. Whats a good way to stall without making it seem like im not interested??

Don't stall. Just get some Cover Girl cover-up stick, cover the hickey real good with it and take her out. Have fun and good luck.

Oops! Been there done that. Ok not exactly, but the whole drunken making out, fun but dangerous. First of all, kudos to you for realizing it's not classy to take a girl out when you have a hickey from another girl! Good to know, good to know.

So far, you've done nothing wrong (although I'm betting you're going to get slandered by people thinking you're the devil incarnate for *GASP* making out.) However, if I were to go out with a guy who had a hickey on his neck, I'd be pissed as hell and think he were trashy just as you thought, but you also don't want to lie to the girl. For some reason, a lot of guys have a problem with honesty. Not that I'm suggesting you tell the girl you have a hickey, you just met the girl, full disclosure is really not necessary and is actually a turn off. However, how about something simple like, "I'm interested in seeing you again but tonight is actually not good for me (true but not necessary for you to explain why) would you be available on Tuesday?” Hopefully the welt on your neck will be gone by then, you've rescheduled a definite time so she knows you're not just blowing her off, and you've expressed a definite interest without lying straight to her face. Then of course reword it in your words and in a way that it would sound less business like so she doesn’t think you’re a loser and you’re golden. Good luck to you, and watch out for girls that give hickeys man, they are so played out.

Maybe you could take her out but to lunch or breakfast. I don't think she'll notice.

Why don't you wear a turtleneck or something?
