If that's the case, the Dr. REALLY gave me a false diagnosis, because I'm not that way. & then, he kept changing my meds & my diagnosis & then couldn't figure me out. I kept telling him I have MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER. I'm NOT bipolar. But I keep hearing about how bipolars & schizophrenics are homicidal & suicidal. I'm neither one.

There is no medical evidence that bi-polar people are dangerous to anyone but themselves. When they are at the high end of the illness they are generally very happy. It's on the other end, the depression when they want to kill themselves due to the depression. Schizos are dangerous when untreated but again more so to themselves but do sometimes follow the instructions from the voices they hear and kill. You would certainly know how to classify yourself. Good Luck and God Bless

You had better listen to your doctor!! I don't know about the homicidal aspect, but two of my good friends were bipolar and both took their lives. Stay on your meds, dear friend, stay on your meds!

there's a correlation between melancholy and homicide. i don't comprehend what you mean by ability of 'rage and mania.' The notice 'many times' is subjective and that i may be careful of it lest you stereotype a team.

it was brought to my attention that people who have a problem they don't want to acknowledge they find others to blame on that reason. if your doctor is trying to find the right meds for you and you keep finding other symptoms not related to your condition, then you will never find out what meds are right for you. bi-polar and schizophrenics are not predictable people. and if you try to self analyze your self then you are doing you more harm than good.help your doctor help you.
