I think it depends what you eat. You may lose weight like that, though your body may go into starvation mode and 500 calories a day isn't enough for anybody and start using muscle and retaining fat which may result in some weight loss, as muscle is much denser than fat, but in the long run would mean that you metabolic rate was slower and you put on weight more quickly. Your body would try and reserve all the fat it could which would be quite easy with Burger King every day for a meal.

500 calories on one of their meals? Which meal is that, the Jr meal?

If you're referring to their healthy salads with lo-fat dressing, a diet drink and no fries, then you could eat two of their meals and lose weight. That would be healthier than eating a burger and fries and regular soda.

You could lose weight if you ate a fattening burger king meal a day, but you wouldn't be healthy, and you wouldn't feel healthy.

well you may not become morbidly obese, but chances are you'll end up with similar effects i.e. heart attack/stroke, diabetes, cos of all the saturated fats in their food. what about fruits and veg?? (no not lettuce in the burger either)
you wouldnt get any plant vitamins/minerals/antioxidants that keep your body healthy- so more than likely you'll end up with big health risks!

and no exercise? not even walking? then im sorry, you WILL put on weight- its all about energy balance- what you put in and what you spend (out) in calories/energy.
you do the math :)

i think their meals may have more than 500 calories. you may lose weight. but it wouldn't be very healthy because you aren't taking in the nutrients that you need. i wouldn't recommend that.
