I am wondering is it is possible to change your saint name after you've been confirmed? If you later find a saint you like better, can you have that one be your patron saint, or is it official? Does it even matter?

Just wondering. Thanks!

That would be a question for your priest. My guess is that you might not get it changed officially, but you could just adopt the new saint's name privately. Again, ask a priest, and see if there's a specific Church policy regarding this issue.

Once you have chosen a Saints' name for Confirmation and are confirmed, you can not change the name.
There are many saints that we can admire and learn from. Often times, as life changes and we go through difficult situations, we learn from and are encouraged by the examples of these other saints. They can be a mentor to us.
