if you ever have children, or get fat (it could happen) you will have a vile distorted tattoo. My friend got 3 dolphins swimming around her belly button when she was 17. She thought it was the coolest. Now she had a baby and she has 3 of the meanest looking mutant salmon you've ever seen. Makes you scared to go in the water.

A nurse I work with has a tribal sun around her belly button, and it looks pretty cool. I once saw a crescent moon in shades of blue around one side of someone's belly button that I really liked. A ring of tiny roses or flowers (or just a vine) would be pretty too.

That just seems like it is more of a place that a female would get a tattoo than a guy. I'm not against tattoos... but I don't think it would look right seeing a guy with a tattoo there.

If you are not done having kids and such yet I would avoid getting a tattoo on your stomach. If you get pregnant, your tattoo will potentially become very disfigured due to the amount of stretching that your skin goes through when you are pregnant.

the thing about getting a tattoo is that its on YOU. not us. so having someone give you ideas is ok, but make sure you get exactly what you want. do some searching on your own, there are tons of tattoo websites. if you plan on getting a tattoo, you should know exactly what you are looking for so that you dont end up regretting it, which so many people do.
