No, Purina has no recalls.

I would like to say to all of the people who are bashing this dog food, that Purina has spent over $10 million in research to create the best food possible. I breed and show dogs and have never had problems with the food. I used to switch brands a lot and found that many of the other brands of dog food have a red dye in them, turning black coats red, and white beards stained a red clay color.

I recommend Purina to all of my clients and puppy buyers. I have seen nothing but positive affects on my dogs in the past 5 years.

Most rumors you hear about Purina putting dead dogs into their food is false. It is other dog food companies spreading rumors. Just like the rumor there is fiberglass in menthol cigarettes or the KKK owns Kools cigarette company.

Don't believe everything you hear.

Purina Pro Plan is what I have fed my dogs and puppies ...with no problems...for quite some time now. I breed Cocker Spaniels and have never had a problem with fertility using this food. As a matter of fact, one of my dogs just had a litter of beautiful healthy puppies this past Saturday.

It's not a good dogfood, but it isn't one of the ones in the recall.. The recall contained canned and moist foods in the foil packages.
