I have recently Plateaued and I only have 20 LBS left to loose. I have been doing Taebo everyday. I was doing the basic and then following with ab bootcamp which added up to an hour. Today I changed over to the Advanced Taebo which is really a challenge. Will this get me past the plateau? And how long does it take to get past a plateau? Will I get over it just by changing my workout like I did? The Advanced Taebo is a lot more cardio. And does anybody have any tips on anything else I can do? I already watch what i eat. I drink nothing BUT water, maybe milk. And I do NOT eat junk food. Thank you for all your answers!

plateus are caused by the body adapting to stresses so a change in activity is good as it makes the body work harder. Also eat breakfasts always to kick start your metabolism and eat every3 hours, a sensible meal this keeps the metabolism fired and prevents snacking

As others have stated, a change in activity is definitely good. If you still aren't seeing much of a change after upping the taebo, I would suggest mixing things up a bit. Maybe start doing cardio workouts a couple days a week, and taebo a couple days a week.
If this is not something you're already doing, I also suggest eating 5 or 6 small meals a day instead of 3 larger ones. Your body digests food easier this way and it's harder to get hungry.
Don't give up now.... best of luck!

Since taebo has been working but it seems to no longer be helping i would suggest adding in some high intensity cardio if possible at least 3 days a week such as interval running which would be 30 seconds fast 1 minute jog for 20 minutes. This can be subbed for eliptical or bike whichever is more readily available.

Or add in some kind of strength training via dumbells if possible using moderate weight in the 8-12 rep range utilizing the dumbbell squat, deadlift as your main lifts.

So it seems that your diet is good and i am only assuming you are taking a decent amount of calories hopefully at least 1500.
What you could try doing is varying carb intake. For example take in a low carb day with only like 40 grams carbs moderate day 80-100 high day with a little more grams in carbs then your weight in lbs. While still maintaing the same caloric intake via increase in protien and good fats as well as more greens.

This will really help break any plateua.

Changing your exercise routine may help. Your body gets used to a certain routine, it's a good idea to alter it every 6 weeks or so.

However much water you drink, try drinking more, up to around 3 litres. Increase the amount of fibre in your diet.

That should help kick start things. But the most important thing is don't give up, you're nearly there. Good luck
