Looking at the world map Palestine belongs to the muslim arab middle east world and Palestine was always a multi religious society majority muslims alot of christians and jews and everyone was living i npeace until Britain decided to give it away to Israel as a gift and put the jews in. So in came the jews, killed the natives took the land by force. So you wonder why we hate them or why are we angry. From a religious point of view Bethelem is a blessed area for christians and to muslims Jerusalem and the Aqsa mosgue which is teh first of teh kebblah (now it is mecca towards which all muslims worldwide pray) and the 3rd most holy spot to muslims (after mecca and medina) the place where the prohet muhamed rose to the heavens, the place where judgement day will take place. We have always lived in peace with jews but never will any muslim accept or embrace Israel the conquerer and never will they know the meaning of peace . Hope you understand.

When after world war-2, the jews who raised a hue & cry about the supposed holocaust, the Europeans tried to placate them. So the demand was a homeland. Now a homeland means parting with sovereign territory & the Europeans were not that foolish.
So they brought all the jews to Palestine & partitioned this country & gave more than half of it to the jews in the form of Israel & the Palestinians who were already living in their own country become refugees overnight.
This is what Muslims are angry about. If your co-religionist (Hitler-Christian) supposedly slaughtered jews from one of your countries (Germany), then why don't the jews get territory or homeland in that country? Why in Palestine which had nothing to do with the problem in the first place?

The Israel/Palestine controversy confuses me. Why should Palestine not be recognized as a country by the United States? Israeli soldiers have shot Palestinian children in the streets. The US gives 10 times as much aid in money to Irael as to the African continent in general.
Muslims have a right to be angry at the way that Palestine is being treated.

First of all the Israelis didnt come from the sky and just
take the palestinians land away. They bought the lands
from Arabics who owned it. The Jewish nation and
the Palestinian nation came from Abraham. So they should
both get along. Love one another. Stop the hatred. You guys
are family!!!

The Palestinian Arab refugee crisis was created by the Arab League as a lever to undermine Israel.
7/8ths of the British Mandate of Palestine became Transjordan in 1917. Of the remainder, half was to became a Jewish state and half to become an Arab state. The Arab League refused to accept the Arab state and invaded Israel the day after it was formed.
Arabs resident in that territory were advised to leave, under promises that they went be able to return as soon as Israel was destroyed. That didn't happen and the Arab nations have severe restrictions on allowing Palestinian Arabs to move into or become citizens of their countries.
Those who didn't leave the territory are today citizens of Israel. Those who did are are being used as pawns by other Arabs who take it as a fundamental tenet that no Jewish state will ever be accepted or allowed to exist unmolested.
Muslims do not have a right to be angry about the Palestinian crisis until they acknowledge their part in it. The Jews who lived throughout the Ottoman Empire were dispossessed of their property and rights in the countries that were created after WWI. They had to have something. Look at a map, there's enough Arab/Muslim territory already. Or would you rather we just all conveniently die?

for deeply entrenched historical/religious reasons, indigenous Muslim populations have a bone to pick with Israel and the Jewish people. The claim to "Palestine" is just the most recent smokescreen. There was violence against Jews well before the Young Turks rebellion stirred up any nationalist feelings, and there are already many Arab/Muslim "homelands" in the region. The international community created Jordan as well as Israel after the land was under British rule and the British agreed to partition it. Arab countries then attacked Israel. Yes, people moved out of their houses and now that their side lost, want their land "back". Tough.

the west divided the arab and african countries on paper. how would you like to be separated from your uncle just because some stuck up dude in England decided that the separation line b/w countries goes right down your village?
israel took land that didn't belong to it and just up and decided to create a jewish holy land in the middle of the arab world who's majority are muslims. and then the west (the U.S. in particular) goes out of its way to kiss up to israel and ignore its countless of human rights violations.
as a muslim i don't dislike jews because of their beliefs. i blv that we all worship the same God so what's there to argue about there?
what i dislike about them is their total disregard for the palestinian people. they took their land and freedom and now they're taking away their hope.

its not only muslims....its also palestinian Christians and many people of different religions and ethnicities in different countries.
your answer? I'll give it to you in a way which you could understand it even though you have no background about it....
Research "Rachel Corrie".... She is an American Christian who saw the way the Israeli army treated Palestinians and wanted to do something about it...until they killed her

Well, Muslims are upset because the Jews took back their holy lands from them.
Muslims tend to ignore the fact that when you take something from someone especially, something Holy, people tend to want it back. The Jews wanted their Holy Lands back that Muslims took many years before.
You'll have to go a long ways back in Ancient History to see who had what first.
