You really need to have 1200 calories a day.
Your meal plan looks pretty good, and you should have no problem fitting in another 200 calories. Maybe add in another protein at breakfast.
How about a salad with your sandwich or tuna at lunch? Throw in some extra veggies with your salad and use a low cal dressing.
For your afternoon snack, I'd have fruit AND cottage cheese.
At dinner, add another salad! Salad is such a great filler.
For your evening snack, you should fit in a fat! Believe it or not, your body needs to have a fat serving. Try a little bit of peanut butter, nuts/seeds, olives.
If you're working out quite a bit (burning a lot of calories) and find yourself hungry, you can fit in a serving of lean protein.
Yes, eating more will help you lose weight. If you only take in 1000 calories your body can go into starvation mode. That mode will stall or prevent you from loosing weight.
Keep up drinking the water!! You have a good starting plan, just make a few adjustments and you'll be on your way!!
Good luck!☺

Nope, it's not okay. You will put your body into starvation mode, doing this intentionally is usually called anorexia. You know some people in third world countries have no choice but to starve, you have the choice and oppurtunity to have a healthy nutrious diet. Don't abuse that luxury.
Bare minimum caloric intake should be 1200, more if you are exercising, which if you want to loose weight I would hope you are.
EDIT: Go to www.fitday.com And start your own food and exercise journal, it will tell you how much calories and nutrients are in everything you're eating and how much you are burning.

You should not drop your calories below 1000/day. Your metabolism will go down, and your body will think it's starving. You will start to burn muscle, which will decrease your metabolism even more. You could add some egg whites to your breakfast, a protein shake to your snack, fruit or salad (or both!) to your lunch... I would try to eat a protein and carb at each meal. Good luck!

No. You need at least 1,200 calories a day to lose weight. Less than that will make your weight loss progress much slower and a lot less.
