A valium is a type of tablet prescribed to people who are under stress, for example, and need to relax. I know people who take them before flying in an aeroplane, because theya re scareda nd it halps them to calm down.
It can also be for people who are ill and need help to relax them mentally. Helps claustraphobia, etc.
I have taken one to have a tooth taken out before, as i was very scared!!!
