Personally, I think the new Hyundai Sonata is by far the best bang for the buck. Not to mention, it comes with America's Best Warranty which is 5yr/60000 mile bumper to bumper with a 10yr/100000 mile warranty on the powertrain. You can actually buy a totally loaded Sonata(inc. leather, sunroof etc.) for only $23660(invoice) less any incentives. I will bet you can't buy a Toyota, Nissan or Honda for that. That is going to be an opinion. Everyone has an opinion.
Get what you like and can afford. All the cars are pretty much the same in regards to quality, no matter what you hear. If there is a problem with a car they have a recall and it gets fixed.

I rather buy American made but unfortunately there really isn't any out there with any quality.

If I were you I would buy a Toyota or a Nissan.

Chevy Cobalt, Its cheaper than a honda or toyota and you can get a lot more options for a lot cheaper than Honda or Toyota, Repairs cost less also.
