Check out www.tsa.gov (Transportation Security Adminsitration).
Some of the new security measures are more stringent security check-points at airports, the air marshals program, bolts on aircraft cockpit doors, more up-to-date no fly lists, mandatory use of U.S. Passport for entry into the U.S. for all U.S. citizens.

You may find it interesting searching that topic on www.aopa.org they are the leaders in GA (general aviation) and legally represent private pilots. They mention in a article that Hillary Clinton is fighting for stringent securities at all airports and anyone involved in aviation. No personal would get onto airport property or near an airplane with out legal documents. This would also make it very expensive to those of us who enjoy the convienance of flying.
