No ... no. Get yourself some psyllium husks (any health food shop will sell them in bulk) and mix them with a flavouring agent - one of those 'slimming' milkshakes, for example - that'll swell up inside you and gve you lots of volume and fibre. (Drop a little into some water and watch it swell up if you don't believe me).

Dear Eisenstein,
Well if you actually did it it would NOT be a good idea!
Wiser alternatives might be to find some skimmed milk and drink that at intervals between meals as the weight-watchers do. This gives you a little protein and helps that grinding appointment you have with mealtime hunger to be postponed and lessened. Also, as with your meals, so with this answer -Keep it short! -Sionarra

NO as these will be classed as empty calories you'll confuse your body and not help yourself. rule 1 eat breakfast to kick start your metabolism otherwise you dont burn extra calories. rule 2 eat every 3 hours, sensible meals though this should prevent snacking and keep you full and your metabolism working. this also tells your body look im eating theres enough food for us so no need to store any as fat, and hopeully excess fat will also be used rule 4 drink water this is good for you and fills you up rule 5 exercise

I dunno. I just wouldn't want the Kleenex-squirts! It'd probably be like one of those circus clowns with the hankies all tied in a string!
