for example:
the color red.
say if i were wearing a red shirt, the only color taht would be seen is the red adn the rest of the photo would be black and white..
how can i do that with Adobe Photoshop CS2

select a shirt by magic tool or any other tool. and copy it to a new layer.
select all other layers and make it black n white.
now color the shirt layer with tool or filter.
save it. done.

Open the picture in CS2 and go to Image->mode->greyscale

After doing that switch it back to color again by picking image->mode->rgb color

Open the color version of the picture again and now copy the entire layer and paste the color version as a new layer into the black and white version.

You should now have two layers of the picture in the one PSD file. The lower layer is black and white and the upper in color. All you have to do now is snip out everything but what you would like to have stay as color on the color layer.
