I don't deny the possible existence of God, yet I see no evidence that supports the existence of God. Should a student blindly believe what ANY teacher says? I don't think so. Until I get to put my hand into the wound on Jesus' side (like doubting Thomas), I won't be sure.

All Gods were created from ignorance of the physics of the universe. Gods are no longer invented because they are no longer needed; and only strong traditions of ignorance and anti-scientific epistemologies keep the old ones from dying off as rapidly as they should have.

Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean an invisible man who turns people into pillars of salt is the answer. The answers are coming as we gain new discoveries.

A god who really loved me would know that I get scared unless I understand what's going on. He/she would never let me live in fear, just because he/she is too haughty to answer a few questions.

The bible prevents me from trusting the Judeo-Christian god. His followers are a good disincentive, too.
