I have my boyfriend of 11yrs. We got together before the birth of my first child. Now those two butt heads all the time. I try to talk to him about it and get nowhere. How should I get through to him to talk about the way those to act. She dislikes him and he dislikes her. It is always WW III at my house. Any suggestions?

Yea for some reason he is putting his ego in the way of having an emotional connection with her. Chances are he has the same problem with you are else you guys would of work thru this before you typed out the question. Ether way if he really loves you ladies tell him he needs conseling. Only a child would blame another child in other words, so he should realize it, somewhere he is failing her. How can you as the mom sit there and in anyway blame the child your trying to raise for this? Your trying raise her, not him too. Anger breeds more anger he should be grown enough to understand that. And you should be grown enough to understand that he is the one taking to places it shouldn't, she should still be to young too realize that. Tell him to stop trying to treat her like a peer and realize he is an adult which doesn't mean he is always right, but he should atleast love himself to know his own wisdom should out weight anything a little kiddos got to say, so why he would take things so personal.... thats why atleast he needs consoling, if thats to expensive you guys need some good friends to help you talk thru this...
