We didn't have our daughters Christened at birth because I didn't feel like I really wanted to. Now I do want to but I don't know if it's too late. Our girls are almost 2 and almost 3.

yes, at least in my faith, you can get christened or baptized at any time. talk to the priest or a director of religious education because you might have to take classes first.

You can do it at any age, but you really should wait until they are old enough to understand, and allow them time to read about not only your religion, but others and some secular writers as well. Then your kids can make an informed choice about their own beliefs, instead of just adopting your religion due to lack of choices.

I believe it is wrong to baptise infants and young children. How can you speak for them about something so important? Let them reach an age where they can fully understand abstract concepts like religion, and can make their own choice.

Baptism is a way to welcome a child into the church and God's house. It is a way for both the parents and the church congregation to commit to help raise the children spiritually and teach them God's teaching. This commitment can begin at any time, of course ages 2 and 3 aren't too late, it's never too late to begin a spiritual journey.

there is no age limit on anything like that. my son was dedicated at 4, the same day we dedicated my infant daughter.
