First of all eating JUST fruits, water and pills might be much harder than it sounds. If you really want to lose weight why don't you try counting calories diet ( You can easily find info about it in the Internet). This diet proved to be efficient and healthy and really easy. I would also recommend combine it with some sport activities. Good luck I hope you will make it!!

No that won't do it if you want to lose the weight and keep it off it will take about a year, you didn't gain the weight in 5 months then you won't lose the weight in 5 months, The only way for that is liposuction. You do need to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and drink more water but that is only the beginning of it you will also need to learn how to balance your diet, NO FAST FOOD AT ALL!!!, I would recommend the south beach diet it is very easy to follow and has a lot of good foods that taste great and are good for you, you will also need to be exercising too, at least 30 mins ever other day. That is what worked for me i lost about 60 lbs doing this and it took me a Little over a year to do, i am still eating healthy and have more energy than ever and it has been 3 years since I started. It feels great being able to say that i lost that much weight trust me.

NOT a good idea. If you just eat fruit and drink water you won't b getting all the vitamins and elements your body needs to work. 1st of all, try exercising 1hour every day. Here are some exercise suggestions:
*swimming
*sports with friends (on a field for example)
*the gym (treadmill for example)
*exercise DVDs
*lifting weights
*riding your bike
*rollerblading
*cardio class
*yoga
*karate/judo
*running up and down stairs 100 times every day
On the internet you can find a food pyramid. Here's one that I found: http://www.kidskonnect.com/FoodPyramid/FoodPyrgraph.jpg
Follow the chart and eat a different variety of foods. Although, you do want to stay off too much junk food (chips, sweets, soda, pizza, hot dogs, fast food). Trust me, I know how yo feel, you can't stay off of them. But there are healthy alternatives, like organic jalapeno corn chips, root beer made out of reel root, a small slice of cake every sunday...you see what I mean. When you do eat, make sure the serving is right. Don't overeat. Eat very slowly and you won't be as hungry. Don't eat after 6:30pm because all the bad calories that you eat go into fat because your digestive system slows down at around 6:30pm. Don't have snacks in between meals unless this snack is healthy, like carrots, celery, a granola bar.
When people are bored they often eat. To avoid that try going outside, take a walk, or go on the computer..do something! It will keep you from eating.
When you go to the movies don't buy popcorn or candy or unhea;thy snakcs. Buy a small cup of ice cream, even that is better.
Every week you should lose 3-7 pounds (weigh yourself). If you notice that you're not losing the weight fast enough, use your imagination! Make your weekly sweet smaller, or make your exercise hour a little longer. Good luck!

I'm overweight, too & have a long way to go. Over 150 lbs, to be exact. I just started my weight loss journey in late January. I've never tried a diet pill or some stupid fad; I simply asked my doctor, told him that I often had a few big meals a day & ate late and night, more often than not. He told me that for weight loss, excersize is good, but ONLY a small part of the answer. He said, "you could run a mile right now, and only burn off the calories that are in a bagel." My problem was my out-of-control calorie consumption. (It may be different for you, but thats why ya ask yer doc; he can help you point to what might be best for you!) He told me to try 1200 calories a day. So I did. I also started up at Curves about 2 weeks ago. I've lost 15 lbs. in the first 5 weeks alone. No pills, no fads, just reasonable eating & a bit of excersize. I hope this helps! Best of luck!

Not so fast! Changing your life-style is the secret that will help you lose a couple lbs. a week and keep it off! No more cokes or desserts. No more fried foods! Eat all the fresh fruits and vegetables you can stand. A large variety will give you all the vitamins and minerals you need. I don't believe in protein pills, just eat a boiled egg every other day and a small handful of almonds every day. Yes, drink a half gal. of water at least daily - more when you exercise. Walk as fast as you can and as far as you can every day! Good choices and good luck!

60lbs by July is a bit quick in almost four and half months. You have to lose so much in a reasonable amount of time so your body can handle it and less likely do develop sagginess (even in guys). And in losing it slowly your skin would be able to tighten better.

You need to workout/ do cardio twice a day for at least 30-45 minutes. Weight lifting is also important because it boosts your metabolism which allows you to burn more fat and helps to digest your food faster. Eat three meals a day and drink plenty of water.

Good luck!!!

hi bret, it is possible for you to loose that amount by july. you just have to be certain that you will do the hard work. weight is like cat years. one human year equals what? 15 cat years? you will have to commit yourself to changing your eating habits, and your lifestyle in general.

like a few people said, diet pills are the devil. don't fall for that. think about it, if they were effective we wouldn't have obese people in our society. use your money for something more effective.

first start by changing your eating habits. if you still live at home with your parents, you may want to ask them to get on the train with you and instead of bringing crap, they bring healthy food into the home for all of you to eat. completely stay away from sugar, alcohol and junk food. make salmon your best friend along with tons of fruits and veggies, at this point you should not do any starchy food either.

if you can afford to go to the gym do so. the treadmill or anything that will make you walk/run. this will boost your metabolism and help you burn fat faster. if you don't have much cash, get a used stationary bike which is something you can keep in your room and make it your best friend.

you should by a book called the 'perricone prescription' or something like that. it has a series of meals mapped out that you could use as a guide until when you can do it yourself. it gives you an explanation of what the things we put in our body do to us.

good luck and i hope you have the outcome you dream of.

No, you need to do cardio everyday. Dieting is a good start if you can truly have self control and follow your plan. You need to eat more than fruit but small substitutions like eating wheat bread instead of white, eating whole grain cereal for breakfast instead of mcdonalds, drinking water instead of soft drinks (like you stated) and other small changes you can research with defintaly speed up the process.

Cardio, Vitamins, and Dieting are the only ways to loose weight in a healthly way.

good luck!

thats probably not a great way to go about it. no one can live off just fruit and water. try just eating alot of low carb/ low fat foods. definatley eat lots of fruit and veggies but dont limit yourself to that. have some lean protein like chicken or salmon as well. and I know no one really enjoys working out. but that will get you fast results.

good luck!!
hope this helped
