i was just wondering, im not anorexic or bulmimic, i was wondering like if i am hungry and i eat, i feel less hungry, but why? how long does it take the food to get down your esphoagus, because i know it doesnt just drop into your stomach, your esophagus constricts to push it down

Just a few seconds. Drink something cold and you can feel it go down.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Immediately! As soon as you swallow the food "bolus" it enters the stomach, unless you have esophageal strictures,or other problems. Take care. SW FNP

A couple seconds typically. Shorter for liquids and longer for solids.

About 20 min. is all, but please just eat what you need to be healthy and don't go throwing it up. That can damage your esophagus after a while and eating disorders can kill you eventulally!
