"Boys will be boys" is an old expression which was used to excuse any conduct by a boy as being normal and justified whatever happened because of that. Today a boy or girl is pretty well held accountable for their actions.

No, that is just an excuse so that boys can act stupid. Its no longer an excuse when a "boy" would prefer to be referenced as a MAN
