I texted her and wished her good luck for her placement as we are not going to see each other for 7 weeks. she said the same for me but "I will text you soon" should I wait or text her during the week asking how placement is going and then Late week phone her asking if she is doing anything on the Sat? she is very shy and I do not want pressure her. I have texted her since saying "hope you had a good weekend and hope tomorrow goes well ;)" That was 9.00pm on Sunday night, I am still waiting but she will have been busy today. I may leave it if she does not reply soon to contact her about going out one night to a week on Thursday. I do not want to appear desperate. What do you think? PS thanks for all the comments so far its been great! :)

i would call her and see how the placement is going, and then see how the phone call goes, and maybe if things look up for you ask her what shes doing sat

If she is shy she will get freaked out easily, but if she has nt replied to your text then ring her a couple days later to see how she is and if you feel confident ask her out while you have got her on the phone!!! But if she is like me and is really shy she may even be too shy to pick up the phone if it shows your number calling!! Just make her feel relaxed and no pressure she may feel ok good luck xxxx

Text her late in the week, just to see how she's getting on. Just compare notes on placements by text for a bit. Ask her out the week after. If she turns you down, you'll cope.

Give her at least a call a day, just telling her how the placement exam is going, if she's shy she'll be waiting for you to call, that's what most shy girls do.

well, she did say " soon " obviously your sooner is more earlier than hers..
give her a txt asking if it would be ok to call.. i think she'd be put on the spot if you called out of the blue.. if she asks why you wanted to call just say you missed her cos your used to having her around and then imply throughout the conversation that you wanna meet with her
good luck mate

You will not be pressurising her by texting or phoning unless she asks you not to, it will be nice for her to hear from you. Hope you get your date, you sound a real considerate guy. Good luck

Just call her or text her whenever you feel like it! Since you said she's shy, she might be waiting for you to call or text her back.

Nothing ventured...go for it.....I was in a similar position many years ago at school....I loved her, but she never knew...years later we bumped into eachother....she was married, and then said she fancied me at school......all I had to do was ask her....this is your chance.....don't go through life with waht ifs....just risk it!.....I hope it goes well
