You can't accept them because according to you, homosexuality is a sin, right? Well doesn't everybody sin, even you? So what makes your sins better than theirs?

You can sin and still get into your privileged heaven, but they can't?

sounds hypocritical...

Agreed... it is quite hypocritical. Besides, there's a good deal of evidence that at least some homosexuals are born that way... so according to Christian doctrines, aren't they made that way by God?

Those who say that are mostly bigots who see EVERYTHING ,EVERY ACT and EVERYONE in the world around them as dirty, polluted and sinful EXCEPT them or those that follow their dogma.

They are usually so repressed and uptight, that the moment they have a wrong doing their mind snaps and they start whipping themselves into depression for failling. How can such a person help "save" anyone if they cannot even uplift themselves out of an emotional blackhole of depression, anger and self hate?

The other extreme is they are usually the ones who are trying to hide the fact that they are doing the very same acts ( if not MORE or with an even broader scope! ) that they condemn by being louder, ruder and more caustic so that it may "slip" the sight of others if they appear forcefully holier than thou... THESE are the "holy men and women" who cause more Christians to backslide or fall... should their nasty little secret find the light and be DISCOVERED, UNCOVERED or in some cases RE-DISCOVERED....

True hearted Christians WILL advise those whose lifestyles they do not agree with, but never condemn, curse or belittle

They will guide by example and never force by mere words without action

They will inspire by being a friend, and give hope by being a constant source of Christ's Love

... just as Christ was to Millions, and Christ STILL is to billions.

ADD: Moreno.... no where in the Bible has there been a confirmation, proclamation or an affirmation that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute...

Hey, no Christian thinks gays can't get to Heaven. And no, our sins aren't better than theirs.
There's a difference between being gay and chaste, and actively living the gay lifestyle. Christians accept (or should accept) gays as children of God, but reject homosexuality as immoral, just as they reject all sin as immoral. Many don't, but that is the only attitude for a true Christian.

When a person decides to become a Christian, they must be willing to turn away from their sins and accept Jesus as their personal savior. If there is no change, there probably is no salvation. It doesn't mean you will never sin again, if and when you do and you are sorry for it and want to stop, you can ask for forgiveness and God will forgive you. You cant have your cake and eat it too.

The Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God.
Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Ok interesting responses, but you must look at it in this way, Once we sin we must repent, repentence is the key, Repentence means to turn away from the sin, if you are gay which is a sin, to be saved you must repent or turn away, but then you are denying yourself and the pleasure of love. I have sinned we all have, it is easy to sin because it usually feels good, its enjoyable, but would rather walk the wide dark path of sin, or narrow road full of light that is your choice which is the greatest gift that God gave us all. So you like every other sinner must choose. Good luck and may God bless you! I will pray for you!

The is none righteous. No, not one.

... Besides, if you're a Christian, it's not within your right to judge. God even teaches that much.

We all sin. We do it on a daily basis. There is no sin that would seem larger than another, either. A sin is a sin is a sin.

Jesus Christ said absolutely nothing about homosexuality. In fact, infidelity within marriage was his main concern regarding "sexual immorality". The only mention of homosexuality was within the Levitical Law of the Old Testament -- which also mentions that we shouldn't eat shellfish, cut our hair, or touch women while they are menstruating, and in the letters of Paul -- who was instructing different churches on how *he felt* they should conduct themselves.

Jesus Christ says that greatest commandments are to love God, and to love your neighbor. If, as Christians, we'd all pay a little more attention to the words of our savior, we'd do a much better job at pleasing God.

You are exactly right my friend. It is quite sad that many non-believers have a deeper understanding of the Gospel message of Christ than most fundamentalists. They are turning the Gospel on its head when they use it to promote hatred in the name of Christ. Doing the exact opposite of Christ but in His name is actually anti-Christian. These people you mention are future followers of the Anti-Christ. By placing themselves in God's judgment seat they have followed the example of Lucifer and i would not wish to be them when they meet God.

That is a fair point, we are supposed to love them and show them the way to Jesus who will lead them to repentance, not expect them to repent and then come to Jesus. In other words all sin, that is between them and God, my job is to spread the gospel of Christ to them without judging them for their sins since I sin too. But that doesn't mean it's not a sin.

The homosexual act is a sin. If they are Christians then they know that they need to stop that. In the Bible its was
called and "unnatural act" or "abomination". Jesus Christ
new that Mary Magdelene was a prostitute and forgave her.
But Mary Magdelene knew if she was going to continue
following Jesus Christ that she could no longer be a prostitute. Same goes for the homosexuals. And when
I sin I ask forgiveness and dont do it again. Its not about
being a Christian at your own convenience.
