Since you are 13 you will probably need your mom to sign a consent form for you.

Make sure not to get burned b/c it is not cute when your face and back and chest are peeling.

I tan all the time and love it. Don't listen to everyone trying to tell you that you are going to die from tanning.

Is it GREAT for you? No. But neither is eating lots of chocolate or not wearing a seatbelt but people do that everyday. Make sure you drink a lot of water and put on a lot of lotion to keep hydrated.

Good Luck!

I used a tanning bed when I was younger, but wouldn't dare touch one now. Anytime I go to the beach I make sure that I put sunblock on first. Tanning beds aren't good and if you are worried about looks think about what your face will look like when you hit your 40's and 50's. I have an aunt that has her own tanning bed and she looks really leathery. Not very attractive if you ask me. You should try sunless tanning sprays or lotions. I recommend Jergen's Natural Glow lotion. It really works. I used it last spring and the results were great.

It depends what state you live in. Some states, you have to be eighteen, some have lower ages but you need your parent's signature. Call, or have your cousin call, the tanning place and see what their policy and the state's law is regarding this. Of course, if you live in a warm, sunny place, you can tan outside regardless of age.

Yeah don't listen to some of them I've been tanning since I was 15 and yes your prolly old enough to tan and to be sure just go w/ ur cousin and says she's your guardian they won't question you. If you aren't old enough have your cousin sign you up. If she signs as your guardian I'm sure they'll let you tan then. Yeah and it prolly depends on which state you live in also.

In tanning salons you have to be at least 16 and under that, you need parental consent. If you have that then you're fine but be careful, study linked tanning salons to melanoma (a type of skin cancer).

i don't think there's a certain age or if there is since u know the people who own it ,it won't be a problem but. i would ask Ur mom or dad first.anyway a little science lesson to become tan pigment is taken from Ur skin and when u have no more pigment left u become pale.

u can...but dont go everyday because thats when u get skin cancer. 3 times a week is fine but more than that its wrong... going tanning alone is bad because in the long eun u will have wrinkles and cancer. but for now haa i guess its fine.. i got twice a week since my brother is a doctor he knows the factors and he said its the best when u go twice a week.

I think you have to be at least 12 to tan.
