im having problems with my sound....i bought a Logitech X-540 5.1 surround sound system...but since my room is too big i couldnt install the rear speakers...so i have 3...one on top of my LCD Flat Panel Monitor and 2 beside it and my sub under the desk...when i play music...the sound is perfect...but when i play games the sound is bad...in some games there is no sound at all...so what can i do to fix it? ive tried changing the setting to 4 Channel speakers instead of 6 or 2....what am i doing wrong? I double checked if i pluged everything right...i did.

First put all your speakers (even the rear ones) in the front.
Does this solves your problem? If yes, then you probably did not install the speakers correctly (mixed rear and front), if not, then there is a more fundamendal problem.

In any surround system, you should always have left and right.
Center is usually used for dialog, and the rear for special effects.

If you have problems with games, check the audio settings for those games. Make sure they match your audio system.
