Can I bake brownies in a cake pan?

probably just the name.. unless you are referring to a metal cake pan, and a dark glass brownie pan.. but really you can cook brownies in whatever.. shoot ive used the bottom half of a broiler pan before.

It's all the same thing, though I have seen brownie pans that are a little deeper than an ordinary cake pan.

No difference, its semantics. And yes...you can make brownies in a cake pan. Yummy!!
