Yes, part of the reason He came was to spread God's word. He had to come and live a sinless life in order to be a pure sacrifice through which we can enter into the new covenant with God. If you read about the first covenant between God and Abraham, animals were sacrificed as part of that covenant, and that was a comomon part of entering into covenants.Jesus was the sacrifice for the new covenant. When we accept the terms of the covenant(belief and confesssion of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior[Romans 10: 9 &10]) then we enter into it, and God is honor bound to keep His promises to us. God made Him who knew no sin to be sin that we might be the righteousness of God in Him.(2 Cor. 5:21)

because Satan induced Adam and Eve into pursuing a course of life independent of God. Jesus was sent to Earth to give a corresponding "ransom" for the perfection of humans that had been lost. If Adam had never sinned in the first place we would all have been born perfect.
