You might have a condition called psoriasis. I suggest using a shampoo called 'T-gel' but I strongly suggest you visit your local GP.

I have what I call fluctuating hair. I get dandruff or I have greasy hair. It gets dull. It gets smooth. The best bet is see a dermatologist. They are always helpful and friendly about it. They can offer advice and even prescribe certain shampoos if what is available on the market is not what you need, i.e medicated for certain conditions. I would highly suggest prenatal vitamins. While, they are intended for pregnant women, they are good for men and women alike, and do wonders for your hair and nails. I am not pregnant, and I take them daily as suggested by my dermatologist. There is no "special" ingredient" for pregnancy. they are just chocked full of everything because a pregnant woman requires so much to satisfy her and her child's needs.

Maybe you need to use a special shampoo by Nutrogena esp. for dandruff. I'd suggest using a shampoo that strips your hair of all the build up and stop using conditioner and hair spray for a while. If that doesn't work, try washing your hair in apple cider vinegar, but don't get it in your eyes!
