You seriously have nothing in your life that makes you happy besides your religion? How sad is that?

An Atheist is exactly the same as any other person except he has no religious suoerstitions. The only pleasure or happiness that he doesn't have is the great pleasure of hearing the preacher over and over and over again.
There can only be so much said about the short life of Jesus. all the rest is right out of superstitious imaginations.
Please don't feel sorry that the Atheists are missing all those great sermons.

I consider religious belief to be a `dependency`, a habitual psychosis that enables Deists to get through life in ignorance of reality. Atheists, being free of such delusion, find the planet a vastly more interesting place, than the weak submissive view , that "God did it". As a general view, I accept that Atheists are more rational, more logical, more open and stronger willed, their company is more worldly, varied, and polymathic than Christians. "Pleasures and happiness" are enhanced by not carrying God and a guilt complex around in our heads, and living without myths. You wear the blinkers, I stay with the thinkers.

The same as anyone else save the need for a religion/deity. I think you'll find that atheists are perfectly happy with the knowledge that this is the only life we have. We live it to the fullest and enjoy it while we can.

My pleasures and happiness come from real people and real experiences. I am capable of looking at a mountain, the ocean, or a sunset and seeing the beauty of it without believing that some greater being created it.
My accomplishments are all mine. I give no one but myself credit (and maybe my family for supporting me).

The same pleasures as anyone else, only atheists get more of it because they don't waste half their life on crazy superstition and the worship of a mythical sky fairy.

It is possible to be happy and to have pleasures without being delusional... Most people are.

Doing what you want on Sundays without wasting time in
church
Having fun, not restricted by some imaginary god who tells you what you can or can't do
And my personal favorite, laughing at Christians who believe all the crap in the Bible.

Family, friends, achievement, learning, reading, discussions, enjoying life. Do you think the only joy in life comes from worshipping an invisible man who turns people into pillars of salt?
