Islam believes Christ is the messiah and is coming again to save the world. Islam does not agree that Christ is the "Son" of God because they believe that God would not lower himself to engage in an act with a human. It is very hard for them to understand that the Holy Spirit planted a sort of seed in Mary's womb. However, they do believe in Mary's virgin birth. And they know that Christ himself never called himself the Son of God, but the Son of Man. The Koran has a lot of what is in the Bible and Muslims pay reverence to Abraham who worshipped only one God. They pay reverence to all the prophets and Jesus as well.

I can't think of one Christian religion that hasn't changed something from the New Testament in their teachings, doctrines, or have omitted from teaching. Including the Catholic religion that has taught from references outside the Bible since the beginning.

According to your logic, all religions are cults, because many of the people who call themselves don't follow all of the rules within Christianity, but still call themselves "Christians," thus bearing false witness.

This is unfair rhetoric to many religions out there who believe in the divine, but not necessarily in a being or deity.

Islam, however, is an offshoot of Abrahamic traditions. It takes many beliefs from these traditions: fasting, repentence, evangelism (not all, but some sects), etc. Christianity is based off the same traditions, except for the fact that they chose a different prophet and differences started from there.

The Quran says God gave Jesus the Injeel (this word in arabic means Good News)

My question is, where is the Good News that God gave Jesus?

Why do Christians follow a book that wasnt even written by Jesus? That wasnt even written by a single person but by a number of people, whose authenticity has been discussed numerous occasions through out history.

If Islam is a cult to you, do you realize that the Quran has never even stirred a discussion of which parts should be kept or which parts shouldnt be kept, among its believers, like the Bible has among Christians?

Islam's roots go back to Central and eastern Arabia long time before Christianity but Mohammed of course came after Jesus and to his followers goes the credits for spreading Islam (in its present from) out side Arabia. The basic Idea of cours is peaceful conduct and againest worshiping Idoles.

1. no it is not a "cult".
2. we dont deny Jesus (peace be upon him)
3. If you say islam is a cult, then Judaism and christianity would also be cults, seeing as how all three of these religions came from one.

All religions are cults. The definition of a cult is where the adherents are brainwashed. Christians are brainwashed, so christianity is also a cult. Its just grown big enough to become a mainstream religion.

Actually the only major religion I view as a cult is Christianity. You're a good example why. It's attitudes like yours that have propelled your cult into the leading rank of historically most violent 'religion'. Pat yourself on the back.

No.

Using this logic, Christianity is a cult because the News was presented and denied, and they rejected Muhammed as the Saviour and rejected Muhammed's divinity.

maintain that hypostasis.

Jesus Christ=Son of the living God=lamb of God

Now maintain that concept through meditation without the necessity imposed upon by the syntax of language, and instead control it with your mind fixed upon your will to produce the same thought but one free from dualistic perspective and one rooted in pure concept of form.

Most all religions are cults, by definition. You claiming that Islam is because they don't share your beliefs is a sign of belonging to a cult.
