All drugs have what is known as a "half-life". That means, after a certain amount of time, there will be 1/2 the amount in your blood.

Vicodin's half life is 3.8 hours. So let's say you have 100mg in your blood (talking in layman's terms here). After 3.8 hours, you will have 50mg left. After another 3.8 hours, 25mg will be left, so on and so forth. It all depends on the concentration in your blood, so just because you take a 500mg tablet, it doesn't mean there's 500mg in your blood, but it would be a good number to use just to be sure it's all gone.

3-4 days. And that other guy saying that Vicodin is so expensive and he guarenties that you didn't take it is an IDIOT. Vicodin is SO cheap (with perscription) otherwise about $5 a 500 mls pill, it floats around to people ALL over.
Peace

Vicodin?....I gaurentee you didnt take vicodin because its outrageously expensive. But cut off levels for hydrocodone bitartrate are usually beat within 1 week of abstaining from use. You have a prescription right???
