Of course, you can put them on any surface that'll hold them. You can even put a few close together in the bottom of a cakepan and let them all run into each other, becoming one GIGANTIC cookie. Yummmmm.

Yes you can use the lasagna pan, but no need to flip it over. Cooking time may vary depending with a different pan, so just keep an eye on the cookies. You may want to take them out a bit sooner, before they get too brown so they don't burn on the bottom. They continue to cook even once they are out of the oven.
Alternativey you could make cookie bars in the pan if you have enough cookie dough.
I like to use parchment paper to line any pan I use to bake in the oven because it is nonstick and I don't have to wash it. You can find the parchment paper by aluminum foil in the grocery store.

Yep! It would work the same! Or you could even place the cookies inside of the pan rather than on the bottom of it turned over.
You could go to a thift store (goodwill or Salvation Army) and probably find a nice cookie sheet for cheap!

Instead of flipping the pan, you'd be better off just baking them inside the pan...it may take a bit longer than the recipe suggests due to the higher sides but it will do the job just fine.

you can make the cookies right in the pan the way it normally goes - just watch cooking temps though, a lasagna pan may have a thicker bottom and cause for fluctuations in cookies times than with a cookie sheet

A cooking surface is a cooking surface. Just use the pan as is. Better yet, make them like brownies, and cut them into seperate cookies. On second thought, just make one huge cookie !!
