Free will. Democracy. Freedom.
Some people make bad choices. These choices have a ripple effect that sometimes hurt innocent people. But I will take free will. democracy, and freedom and the ramifications of each of these over being a puppet a string. God allows free will and we do need to take responsibility for our actions. He is not a magic genie who promises to give you all of your hearts desires. Do you think parents should give their children EVERYTHING that ask for? Do you think parents should protect their children from the consequences of their actions? It's okay that you beat up your teacher Johnny- it wouldn't be fair for you to be punished so we will find you a new nice school. Do you think parents should keep their children in a bubble protected from others wrong choices?
God as our loving parent gives free will. Sometimes He allows us to suffer the consequences of our own actions. Sometimes we stumble over someone elses sin. if we lean on God than He will help us through and use these bad situations to further the Kingdom. Which would you rather have a parent that lovingly guided you letting you stumble sometimes but always allowing you to make your own decisions. Or a parent that made every decision for you treating you like a puppet on a string but keeping you from ever experiencing the pain that bad choices can cause?

While many religions discuss unfairness, I don't think there are any that actually say you're relieved of doing anything about it.
Sure, people can interpret the mention of something in the bible as something G-d wants, that's the way it is, and that's the way it's going to be, who am I to change it. And if you look at it globally, it would be hard to think you have a chance of making any difference.
But no one is responsible for fixing all that is unfair, we should only do the good we can even if it helps just one person with one tiny problem. That may help them get along in their own little world, which is no less important than the rest of the world.

If we were all the same, this world would be a very, very boring place.
Considering that we aren't all the same, many of us have to go through different things in order to be an efficient witness. If all Christians were born rich, who could witness to the poor? If all Christians never had to work a day in their life, who would witness to the ones that work 70 hours a week?
I can't even begin to claim that I have all the answers. I do know, however, that anytime God allows us to suffer, it is to instill something in our lives that makes us a better instrument for him to use. We have the right to be angry with God. We have the right to question God. We have the right to ask things of God. What we should never do is to blame God -- simply because he can see the big picture and we can't.
I'm not a "holy person", and this isn't a biblical answer. I'm just a person like everyone else, who happens to be Christian, sharing experiences from my own life.

What has a person done to EARN all the good things they have? Did they earn their ability to work? Did they earn good weather, the reproductive powers of the earth/ground to grow crops (food) did they earn their safe keeping while driving, did they earn two eyes, two arms, two legs, their eye sight???? Most importantly, did they earn salvation and the right to go to Heaven? No to all of the above. If we could boss God around and want Him to do everything we demanded, God would be little more than our slave. It's easy to complain why is it hard to give thanks? It works both ways.

There is no biblical reason for the unfairness in the world. Tons of societal reasons though.

What do you want, and want it now? Equality under the tree. Why don't you start by cleaning up your own prejudices and start making a difference.
