I wouldn't recommend such a rememdy, but it is true that lack of love can kill you. In my AP Psychology class we went over this. In a study, a woman took two fake monkeys, one made of wire, and one made of soft cusions. While the wire monkey had food to offer, and the cusion monkey had only loving comfort, the real baby monkey preffered the comfoting monkey without the food. Also, babies that do not get love and affection have actually died from lack of love.

love is just a feeling you have, there is no scientific evidence it cures diseases, i'm guessing it makes you less depressed.
