It must be defined in context of it's use:

1. It is the name of a rock band, "AC/DC" which had it's debut on Dec 31, 1973 and which was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 10, 2003.
2. It refers to types of electricity in which AC is "alternating current" and DC is "direct current". Some electrical devices have a capability to use one or the other based on a switch which is usually labeled AC/DC. For example, many handheld game systems will run using 2 or 3 AA size batteries (which is DC) or using a transformer which plugs into the wall outlet (which is AC). The transformer changes the current from AC to DC.
3. It refers to a bisexual individual which means that they are interested in or engaged in both heterosexual and homosexual sex (without regard to their own gender).
