Think of this as a mental exercise.

If you fail to answer me you fail your faith.

If the Word of God and God are the same thing, then why isnt the 10 Commandements given to Moses considered God?

This is a legitimate question for those who say the Word of God and God are the same thing.

I say theyre not. If you fail to show me otherwise, you literally fail the challenge.

The Bible was written by more than one person, how could Jesus be the Bible?

Thank you for those who took the challenge and tried to answer anyway, the number of people who actually tried shows me how small the percentage of real believers are.

"If you fail to answer me you fail your faith."

Ha ha ha! Don't presume yourself to be God, little man. You have no more power over me and my faith than Satan does.

God is a god of order. The 10 commandments had to be given to humans to create order. God is perfect. He doesn't need the 10 commandments. The commandments are God's laws. The Word is God's Truth. There is a Huge difference. The 10 commandments don't speak to us. But the Word does. God is awesome! Pray about it!

The Word of God is what God wants us to know. It is a map for how to live right in the eyes of God. The 10 Commandments are from God. All are summed up by loving your neighbor as yourself. If you do that you won't transgress against any of the 10 Commandments.

I believe in God. I believe that the Bible is the Word of God.
The 10 Commandments were given to Moses. God wrote the Ten Commandments. Moses was the messenger of God's Word to his people. So look at it as God's Word is His message to His people, God is the source of the message.

--Good question!

----The word of Jehovah God is just that, the written word of the Almighty--OF WHICH he inspired by use of his "holy spirit", OR "active force" OR "dynamic energy"!

--All Scripture is Inspired of God........" OR in the word for word "All Scripture is God breathed"( meaning very personal from him, NOT HIM)
2 Timothy 3:16

--IT DOES NOT SAY All Scripture is God...

--IF ANYBODY is conveying that idea then indeed they are making the Bible an IDOL!

--SIMILARLY many on these Christian discussions-- convey that the holy spirit is God or 1 of the 3(trinity)ALL IN one gods(which is the most bizaar idea in religion)--in otherwords that the holy spirit should be and can be worshipped as we are supposed to worship God!

--SO THEN they have made the holy spirit an idol --in invisible form!

--Jehovah God & Christ Jesus hate any form of idolatry--SO HOW IS IT that they think they get away with image worship of God? (From the standpoint of religion not from God's standpoint) Note please how comparable idolatry & fornication have equal disgust in God's eyes:

(1 Corinthians 10:14) “14 Therefore, my beloved ones, flee from idolatry.”

(1 Corinthians 6:18) “18 Flee from fornication. Every other sin that a man may commit is outside his body, but he that practices fornication is sinning against his own body.”

--BY SIMPLY saying that Jesus was God on earth, and indeed we can & do worship his image, pictures, cross, what-ever etc.

It is the written word and represents God and what is right and just but we are not under that agreement now.
The Word of God is the written word and the living word is Jesus who lived the law when he was on earth and is the only man ever to keep the whole law..

The Words of God contained in the Old Testament had to do with God reaching for His people and offering them redemption through the Law.
Jesus Christ is and was the physical manifestation of the Word as salvation and redemption now come through Him.
But then I get the impression, I hope I'm wrong, that you don't believe anyway.

the 10 commandments were Gods laws and represents the same God is a man that can not lie therefore we use them as rules that He made for us to live by since Jesus had to come and save us by grace remember the tablets were broken and had to be re-written in the OT they were laws

God's rules is his law and is God. He created the commandments to set a standard of how his people should live. Jesus was created to show us how we should live while on this earth.
