Hi. I have a presentation on the Tiananmen Square Protests and I was wondering if someone with experience with the Chinese language could help me with the pronounciation of the following:

Deng Xiaoping
Mao Zedong (Chinese leader)
Renmin Ribao (newspaper)
Hu Yaobang (government official)
Chen Yu (government official)
Chai Ling (student leader)
Chang'an (the street near Tiananmen Square)

i'm undecided what do you mean with the help of "Tsai". it may be clearer even if it rather is in a sentence, cuz there are distinctive chinese language characters with the comparable pronounciation. one-yee 2-uhr 3-sahn 4-suh 5-woo six-lyo seven-chee 8-bah 9-jo ten-shur

Deng sounds like the deng in cow deng
Xiao sounds like SH+ OW, use the ow in cow(also sounds like the kung fu city SHAO LIN)
ping = as in ping ping
MAO = M+OW as in COW
REN = sounds like the writting "pen" but use an R
Min = like Tin the metal
Ri = Just say the RI part in the word RIP-OFF
BAO = Same as MAO but use a B
HU = sounds like "who"is that?
Yu = sounds like "you" and me
An = sounds like "on"/ off
chai = use the ch in chat and the ai part sounds like the "i" in i am, so chai rhyms with tai in tailand
chen = ch in chat + en used in the word pen,hen,den,ten
chang = ch in chat+ ang as in the city SHANGHAI

Dung (like cow dung) shyaow (rhymes with wow)-ping (as in pingpong)

Mao (rhymesn with cow) Dzuh (rhymes with "huh?"-doong

Runmin rerhbow (bow like bowwow)

Hoo yao (like wow) bahng

Chuhn You (as in "you")

Chai (rhymes with "I") ling

Chahng - ahn
