Raw or cooked? That's alot of roughage. Could be you are not accustomed to eating so many veggies in one sitting. Also, broccoli & cauliflower (& beans I'm guessing - those green sticks) are a pretty gassy combo. Drink lots of water, the bloating should be gone by tomorrow.

Four apples is a lot for one meal. When I was in a Gold's Gym contest, they recommended three apples a day. Apples have about 5 grams of dietary fiber, which will make you feel full. However, we don't have the enzymes to break down the fibers (we can't digest them), so the apples help to make a person eat less because they feel full, but the fiber won't even be digested. It just sweeps through and cleans the gastrointestinal tract.

It's recommended for men to eat 35 grams of fiber per day. In one meal you were/are eating about 20 grams (4 apples x about 5 grams in each apple)! I came across this when I was trying to find the recommended intake for women:

"Current recommendations from the United States National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine, suggest that adults consume 20-35 grams of dietary fiber per day, but the average American's daily intake of dietary fiber is only 12-18 grams." -- see sources section

You're were eating the minimum recommendations for fiber in one meal. Nice work, but it's better to spread it out throughout the day. I'd recommend just eating one apple and eat a protein shake if you're trying to lose weight. 20-27 grams of protein is enough. If you lift weights, you'll tone your muscles and the protein will help the cells in your muscles grow. Then you can lose weight while sitting around, it's called resting metabolism. You'll increase your resting metabolic rate with more toned muscles and/or bigger muscles depending on what you want.

Fat just sits there, it doesn't need energy to maintain. Muscles, however, do need energy. If you're not eating too much junk food, your blood glucose levels will ideally be low, so your muscles will get the energy they need from the surrounding fat, thus burning fat off while sleeping and sitting around. You still need to exercise though, because the body loves to adjust and get comfortable and conserve energy when it gets to the 'plateau' point of metabolism, which is more common in some people than others.

It's wise to get into weight lifting because muscle 'decay' (that's not the correct term, but it's a nice analogy) is a large reason people go to senior homes...because they can't lift things by themselves (even canned foods). Perhaps you've heard of the phrase "use it or lose it", that's how muscles are.

Anyways, if you're not into that, although it's highly recommended, see how you feel with only eating two apples for dinner. If you're hungry later, eat another apple.

Because you're not eating a balanced diet. Add meat or fish to your meal so your stomach acid has some protein to work on.
If you still want to eat a lot of fruit, vary it a bit more. Different fruits contain different vitamins, minerals, antioxidants etc. By restricting yourself to one type of fruit you are going without a lot of what you need.

Those are very gassy foods! You should cut back on the number of apples and add some protein in there. A lean protein like Chicken would be best.

because the fruit ferments onto of the food you have eaten. If thats all your eating you are not gettin enough nutrients in your diet such as proteins and carbohydrates.
It can be very bad for you. you need a much more varied diet.

You're eating too much raw fruits and veggies. They are extremely hard to digest. Mix in some carbs and meat instead of just pure veggies and fruits. Our stomach can't digest that much raw fruit and vegetables in one sitting.

brocolli is noted for causing gas, i would also spose it has to do with the acidity of the apple, im really nto sure about the other items though
