There are many that don't taste bad most are geared to children. Most of the" yucky " pills have a special coating on them,or are in "capsules" form,that you can't taste.There are some because of their unique drug compound aren't suitable to add a flavor etc.These days the Pharmacist will ask you your favorite "flavor" and mix the oral medication so they taste good.Parents must take precautions and be very carefull with these meds,and store them out of the children's reach,to prevent accidental over-dose. Because if it tasted good,people would abuse it and kids would thing it's candy. And because it's made from substances that just don't tase good to begin with.

So children won't take too much. If it tastes bad, they won't like to drink it.
