How can I forget about me ex-gf (who cheated on me and slept with another guy.

I forgave her but ended up ending it after she did nothing to gain my trust back, and told me to my face that she loves me one day but those feelings change everyday.

I spend plenty of time with my friends and am quite active in sports around school.

Our friends overlap and often I see her when I go out with my friends. And we still see each other alot in school.

Please I want a wealth of ideas to figure out how to forget about this sl*t.

Sl*ut? Maybe but take a good long look at what YOU might've done..or not done..to push her into the direction of another man.

It's rare that women..even silly little High School girls just up and cheat on their boyfriends without provocation.

I'm not saying that this is your fault, but the happiness of a relationship is a two way street...so is it's destruction.

First, examine the rold you played in your break up. Why did she stray and what did you do that might've prompted that?

Do that, then forgive her and forgive yourself. I know she hurt you but you can change your perspective. You really can and then try ton view what you had a positive...a gift, really..as opposed to the abject heartache you're feeling.

Move on...leave the relationship behind and concentrate on other things that matter...namely yourself. Take all that you've learned from this relationship and apply them to bettering yourself in preparation for the next relationship.

Trust me, change your perspective..take another picture...make a point of looking at this differently. Do this and in a few years, you'll thank her for doing what she did because it not only made you a better person and boyfriend, but her departure will mean the arrival of the next love of your life.

Good luck,
Laurie

Do your own thing, make sure that you'll have your time filled with activities. When a thought of her comes, try to let it flow, just like other thoughts that are just needless. Do not concentrate on it because otherwise it will stay longer, and the stable roots it has the harder it will be to remove it. Get a hobby. Oh, and one thing is which always helps, try to recall all the faults she has that never suited you...

It's quite simple as far as I see it. It seems like you're a nice guy and you deserve better. You have to go on with the mentality that this girl isn't worth your time. If she can't respect that you're a cool guy, than she's not worth it. Especially if those feelings change everyday--that isn't the definition of love.

If you really want to forget it, remind yourself you deserve better and pretty soon it'll be easier. Trust me- it just takes time.

i dont really think it ll be easy for u to forget her. but try to go out with some1 new. however, i suggest u to get to really like this new person before u decide u wanna be her boyfriend because u will both get hurt if u do that. while u r with a new person, try to do things that u didnt do with ur ex. things that will help u learn to do something new and that won't remind u ur ex. try to explore things u didnt with ur ex, adn try to discover whta a great person this new girl is, and u will hopefuly and slowly start forgeting about ur ex, and hopefully will eventually begin to fall for this new one.
