I am single, no dependants and no one can claim me as a dependant. I dont have any kind of tuition reimbursement or retirement stuff. Just my plain old W-2's. Also, I havent filed in a few years and am planning on filing for the past 3 years. My uncle knows a lady who gets him GREAT returns. Should I pay hey to do my taxes as well? hoping that she could somehow get me more money? or are my taxes so simple that I should just do them on my own?

Your taxes are so simple, you should do them yourself and save yourself some money and get whatever refund is coming to you. There doesn't appear to be anything fancy that an experienced preparer can do for you to generate more of a refund.

However, if it is less stressful for you to just have someone quickly do them, a paid preparer might be a good idea for you.

You would pay over $200 for these returns, so decide for yourself if you want to save the money or not.

Do your own taxes, with just W-2's your returns are pretty simple. Just make sure to use the correct tax tables, forms and standard deduction for the proper years. You can get the forms and the tax tables form the IRS site.

Do them on your own. You seem to qualify for a one-page tax return. You can get forms at the local library or post office. You can use the extra money saved from not going to a professional for treating yourself to something or going out with your friends.

If your taxes are that simple, the only way someone will get you a larger refund is by filing a false return.
