Is Jesus named after any of them ?
No it was done by Joseph after Mary had given birth they asked what he was to be called and pulled on Joseph's shoulder he spun and stubbed his big toe on a rock and said "OH GOD" grimmaced and then said "GEE SUS" in pain. All who where near shouted out "Jesus" and so he was named.

Because he called himself Jesus.
Just like you call yourself you name.
His mom named him
*and besides, even if his name is Yashua, does the name matter above the idea?

It's actually Yeshua, Which is the Hebrew form of Jesus.
To Living T..... Jehoshua is the proper name for Joshua, which is the shortened form. Yeshua has nothing to do with Joshua.

Yeshua or Joshua is the same name as Jesus. They are just different dialects. In English the name William means the same as Guillaume (william) in French.
It has nothing to do with Rome. His name was picked by God.

Or it could be that Greek tends to put 's' at the end of personal names.
This is like trying to draw a connection between the Japanese and the Portuguese because they both end in 'ese'.

No. Altering the ending allowed it to follow the rules of Greek grammar.
